Permaclad® / Colourclad® Roofing
We supply metal roof cladding in both Permaclad® and Colourclad® (Permaclad® with oven cured paint finish).
Permaclad® (also known as Aluzinc/Galvalume/ZincAlume) is a structural steel substrate coated on both sides with an alloy of Aluminium and Zinc by a hot dipping process.

Min Tensile strength: 450 N/mm²
Min. Yield strength: 345 N/mm²
Min. Elongation: 12% in 50mm
Thickness: 0.5mm / 26G (standard), 0.6mm 24G
Coating Characteristics:
Coating Compostion: 55% Al, 43.4% Zn, 1.6% Si
Min coating mass: AZ200- 200g/m2 each side (28 microns/side)
Surface finish: smooth, spangle
Surface Protection: Chromated, resin-coated
Specific Weight: 3.75 g/cm3
Formability: very good behavior in: bending; rollforming; drawing
High temperature behaviour: no discolouration up to 3150 C (6000 F)
Heat reflectivity: similar behaviour to aluminized steel up to 3150 C (6000 F)
Weldability: similar behaviour to galvanized steel for:
spot, seam resistance and arc welding.
Painting: very good paintability, excellent adherence,
can be painted immediately.
Colourclad® is an aesthetically pleasing sheet product that is comprised of a structural steel substrate coated on both sides with an alloy of Aluminium and Zinc by a hot dipping process, a corrosion inhibitive primer and an oven cured paint finish.
